Senior High Band is a yearlong one-credit course open to any student in grades 9-12 with previous instrumental music experience. Students will participate in concert band, pep band, and community performances. All students are encouraged to participate in pep band that performs at local and sporting events. Students also have the opportunity to perform in music festivals (North Country Music Festival and All New England Band Festival).  Attending all full band performances is a course requirement. Students enrolled in band also attenda  music competition in May.

Concert Band

High School Chorus is a year-long one-credit course open to students in grades 9-12 who are student interested in a performance-oriented class in choral music. No audition or prior experience is necessary. Students have the opportunity to perform in music festivals (North Country Music Festival and All New England Chorus Festival). Students are also encouraged to audition for the All-State Music Festival. Attending all choir performances is a course requirement. Students in chorus also attend a music competition in May.

Music Theory

Music Theory is a semestser long 1/2 credit course open to students in grades 9-12 who are interested in learning the fundamentals of music. No prior knowledge is required but is preferred. Students will learn the basics of music composition. Some concepts that will be covered within the course are: Major and minor scales, key and time signatures, basic rhythms, intervals, triads and inversions and note reading in treble and bass clefs. 
The History of Rock ‘n’ Roll is a study of the origins of the popular music genre and the social and historical context surrounding this time period. From blues and country to punk and heavy metal, students will acquaint themselves with innovative groups and music from different periods. We will be exploring connections between modern music and the artists from the past who have paved the way for the popular music of today.
